Walton does a wide variety of job sizes in the United States and Canada. We utilize 3D laser scanning technology with our proprietary software which allows for more accurate data with a higher definition than traditional survey methods.

This gives our clients – from architects, general contractors, engineers – and subcontractors the ability to realize the many benefits of having very precise information at their desktop. Our elements are fabricated from this laser survey resulting in a pristine fit and finish!

ACM (Aluminum Composite Material)

Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) is composed of two thin sheets of aluminum continuously bonded under pressure to both sides of a thermoplastic core. Metal composite materials (MCM) are composed of two thin sheets of natural metal continuously bonded under pressure to both sides of the thermoplastic core.

We primarily use aluminum composite materials/metal composite materials and Phenolic Resins. We also utilize aluminum and steel flat stock painted and anodized, mill finished, stainless steel, galvanized and galvanized steel, copper and brass.

ACM (Aluminum Composite Material)

Both ACM and MCM are economical and offer the superior flatness, rigidity and thermal stability of heavy gauge sheet metal. At the same time, they possess an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio.

Both lightweight and flexible, they can be bent or curved in fabrication, making them ideal for exterior canopies, entryways, soffits, fascia bands, building cladding, modular building cladding, fixtures and interiors. Finally, ACM has no glue lines, delamination, skin blistering or pimpleing.

Why Walton?

Our 3D laser survey consists of millions of points of reference. We digitally capture the 3D shape and size of building components and surfaces to create “Point Clouds” of data. We take the survey information and feed it into our CAD equipment, which results in pristine fit and finish! Each panel is made for that particular building, fabricated with accuracy to 1mm.

Our systems are AAMA 501 and NFPA 285 certified, meaning they are tested for water, fire, wind and structural performance. For example, a poorly designed system can cause damage (sometimes many years down the road) by allowing water penetration which could affect the walls, or in some cases the foundation. Other systems can be dangerous to the occupants, in regards to fire or structural performance.

Why Walton?

Our system is installed progressively, like a puzzle. Each panel is labeled. If a panel is damaged in the future, we can identify and replace the panel since all its dimensions are saved from the original laser survey.

As an additional bonus, cheap systems require that many panels – or entire elevations – be removed to get to a specific damaged panel. Our system will allow a single panel to be removed for replacement quickly.
